In the galvanic sector , the importance of sustainable and responsible practices is gaining more and more attention. In this context, solutions that align technological progress and environmental responsibility are emerging . Galvanic barrels increasingly sustainable and efficient

For years, Progalvano has undertaken a path of renewal of its processes and machinery to achieve a production of galvanic barrels that can be increasingly sustainable and attentive to waste.
Starting in 2018, it has implemented a total renewal of the production machinery , with the aim of creating high-performance, more efficient and less polluting rototumors that therefore also allow savings on the active costs of galvanic processing.

Sustainability in metal recovery processes

Among the emerging market trends is the desire to recover metal from processing waste or from already coated parts. This is for both economic and environmental reasons, living in an era where we cannot afford to waste resources, especially metals that in recent years have reached very high costs.

For these reasons, Progalvano has committed to developing machines of considerable size and loading capacity, capable of recovering metals after processing or from processing waste . With these machines it is now possible to recover metals that were previously disposed of through the reverse process.

The company is a pioneer in this field and this translates into an important advantage : a know-how already acquired , useful for any developments in the sector.

By accepting this challenge, Progalvano has opened up a new application niche, enriched its skills and strengthened its leadership.

Real-time monitoring of the galvanizing process

Galvanic 4.0: electronic control with roto-tumblers

Finally, Progalvano has also embraced “Galvanica 4.0”, implementing an electronic control system mounted on board its rotoburatti. This technology allows real-time monitoring of the galvanization process .

The system, called “ PM ”, increases efficiency, but also serves as certification that the process has been carried out correctly, ensuring quality and reducing waste.

To date this system is still an optional choice but it is applicable to all machines produced by Progalvano and also on old supplies.
