In the world of industrial production, the selection of materials is a crucial factor that determines the quality, efficiency and sustainability of the final products . Progalvano, leader in the sector of rotoburatti and other galvanic components, stands out for its innovative and strategic choice of production materials .
Most of Progalvano's competitors make rototums in Polyethylene as a base material, because it is very resistant to abrasion. However, this cannot be the only criterion for choosing a material for an application. On the contrary, Progalvano cylinders are made of Polypropylene , which, in addition to offering excellent resistance to abrasion , ensures superior properties of mechanical, thermal and chemical resistance .
This choice allows Progalvano to guarantee greater efficiency of its products, reducing consumption and, moreover, the great advantage of being able to carry out welding . In fact, through the polyfusion process , we can make the cylinder body a single piece, mechanically superior to Polyethylene cylinders which are only screwed. Therefore, we can offer significant advantages compared to traditional cylinders.
A second fundamental aspect: in Progalvano, Polypropylene is injection-molded by compression on our own molds that we have been developing for 40 years. The result is that our PP barrels, coupled with the right perforation of the panels, manage to have the same duration as PE barrels , but with the addition of greater efficiency and sustainability .
The choice of production materials is not limited to polypropylene. Progalvano carefully selects superior quality plastics and metals , including PVDF, Polyethylene (PE), PPS, PEEK and PVDF polymer compounds, carbon fiber, electrolytic copper, copper and brass alloys for die casting, AISI 316 and 304 stainless steel.
